Our approach
Day Night Driving School has been teaching Aucklanders to drive since 2010. We keep lessons one-on-one, unhurried and tailored to where you're at — whether you're a nervous first-timer or polishing up before the practical test.
We run daytime, evening and Saturday sessions so lessons fit around work, study or school. And because we're mobile, we'll meet you at a pickup point that suits — across the central and south-Auckland suburbs we cover.

Lessons & services
From a single one-hour lesson to a full package and test-day support — pick what fits your goal and your timetable.
A one-hour lesson, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. We can also teach in your own car for $70/hour in some areas.

A one-hour lesson after 5pm and on Saturdays — perfect for working and studying around your licence. Closed Sundays.

Learn faster with two hours back-to-back for just $140 — a longer session means a more comprehensive lesson. Valid in some areas.

Five 2-hour sessions — 10 hours total. Ideal for new drivers, or anyone who wants to feel genuinely safe and confident. Valid in some areas.

Once we've prepared you, you can use our car for the practical test if you need it. Allow around 2.5 hours, including a 1-hour mock test option.
