Day & Night Driving School has provided professional driving instruction in Auckland since 2010. Our instructor Avi is NZTA registered, endlessly patient, and known for a teaching style that settles even the most nervous first-timer. Every lesson is structured, calm and tailored to your pace — which is exactly how we keep our pass rate at 90%.

Lessons & services

Six ways to learn — choose what fits your week.

Lessons run 9am–5pm Monday to Friday, after 5pm on weeknights, and Saturdays. Closed Sundays.

Standard Lesson — Daytime (1 hour)

$75

A one-hour lesson Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. The classic building block — perfect for steady, paced progress toward your restricted or full licence.

Standard Lesson — Evening & Weekend (1 hour)

$80

The same focused one-hour lesson, scheduled after 5pm on weeknights or on Saturdays — ideal when work or study fills your days.

2-Hour Combined Lesson

$140

Learn faster with two hours combined into one session. Longer lessons allow a more comprehensive, real-world drive — great value at just $140. Valid in some areas only.

Super 10 Lessons (2hr × 5)

$675

Five two-hour sessions — ten hours of guided driving. Perfect for a brand-new driver or anyone who wants to be genuinely safe and confident before the test. Valid in some areas, so please check when booking.

  • 2-hour lessons × 5 sessions (10 hours)

Practical Test Preparation

$160

Once you're prepared, you can sit your practical test in our car if you need to. Allow approximately 2.5 hours, including a warm-up. A 1-hour mock test is also available to settle the nerves beforehand.

Evening Package Deal

$700

A bundle of evening lessons between 5pm and 9pm for learners who can only train after hours. Please check with us for availability when you book.
